Changelog

All notable changes to the FeedSense SDK. We follow Semantic Versioning.

v1.3.0

May 19, 2026

Added

  • Widget theme customization via theme config: colors, position (5 placements), dark mode (auto / light / dark), and custom text strings. Server-side themes from your dashboard merge with local config (config wins)
  • User identity API: FeedSense.identify({ userId, email, name }) attaches identity to submissions; FeedSense.reset() clears it on logout. Identity persists across reloads
  • Plan-tier branding control: the Act plan can hide the “Powered by FeedSense” footer via theme.branding: false
  • Bundled widget font (base64 woff2) - identical rendering on every site, no external font request
  • Quota-aware errors: hitting your plan's feedback limit surfaces a friendly message through onError instead of a generic alert

Changed

  • Bundle size is now ~50 KB gzipped due to the embedded font. Pin @feedsense/sdk@^1.2.1 if you prefer the smaller ~10 KB footprint
  • Accurate sdkVersion reporting in integration events (injected at build time)

v1.2.1

March 7, 2026

Added

  • Responsive widget scaling for mobile and tablet devices
  • Tablet (≤768px): widget scales to 85%
  • Phone (≤480px): widget scales to 75%
  • Uses CSS transform: scale() for uniform proportional scaling
  • Desktop layout is completely unchanged
  • No configuration or code changes required by integrators
