The origin story
Why I built FeedSense
I was building a SaaS product and I was too busy shipping features to listen to users. Feedback came in - through emails, form submissions, the occasional DM - and I told myself I'd get to it later. I didn't. I built what I thought was right instead of what users actually needed.
When I finally sat down to read through months of feedback, the patterns were obvious. Users had been telling me exactly what was wrong - I just never had a system to surface it. I looked at existing tools: Canny wanted public voting boards, Productboard cost more than my entire infrastructure, and none of them used AI to actually analyze what people were saying.
So I built FeedSense from scratch. Fastify backend, PostgreSQL + Redis for data, a Python AI service for sentiment and emotion analysis, and a <40KB gzipped browser SDK that won't slow your site down. 5,000+ tests because I don't ship what I can't verify. Every architectural decision came from a real problem, not a best-practices checklist.
